This year’s 2nd annual event will be held Thursday, Oct 8th at the well-manicured Plum Creek Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana!
Enjoy a fun day of Golf with fellow Cursillistas, 18 holes of golf (including cart), lunch, door prizes...all for just $100 / player
Registration begins at 9am, with tee-off at 10am. The cost for this event is only $100. This price includes entry into all events, 18 holes of golf, riding cart, lunch, and beverages after.
We are taking registrations via credit card now and at the event!
The annual expenses of the CICC exceed what Cursillo currently collects from the candidates and team members on weekends. Thus, to keep the fee on the weekends reasonable for all, Bill Demaree, (one of the good guys) came up with the idea of having a Cursillo golf outing, hoping that in time it would generate enough participation that Cursillo would be able to count on these dollars to offset the shortfall in the CICC budget.
So we need your help in raising some money, while at the same time promoting joy and friendship by spending a great day together.
We are hoping to raise $10,000 from sponsors and participants in this event. Alternately, a tax deductible contribution to CICC would be welcome. If you or your group would like to contribute $100...to $5,000 I think the Big Guy Upstairs would appreciate it!!!
The proceeds will go to assist future Cursillo weekends.
Current Status: We are at $6,200 in donations and 44 golfers! Our Goal is to reach $10,000!
To help us properly plan for this event, Please get in touch with your Parish Priest to sponsor as well as come to the event and play with your favorite team.
We need your support!
A note from Bill Demaree
Greetings to all,
This is Bill Demaree, Curisllo #94 , table of St. Paul. I would like to ask you to help our / your Cursillo community, continue to provide '4th Days'!
We simply need to raise some money to help offset the expenses of our weekends. I know most of you don't play golf but, in looking around the country many Cursillo community's have chosen golf outings as their platform to help out with cost. The Cursillista's in St. Louis raise $30,000 to help with their 4th Day! SO.....if you play golf or not...PLEASE CONSIDER a donation. $100.00 / $5,000.00 ...anything and everything helps! Be assured that 100% goes toward the weekends and creating 4th Days.
Please contact me with any thoughts or questions.
You can make checks out to CICC and mail them to: 12449 Spire View Drive Fishers, IN 46037
Thanks and may God continue to fill you with His Love!

National Cursillo Encounter is a wonderful way to see the USA as the Encounters are held at different parts of the US. Last year was Orange, California. This year was Villanova, Pennsylvania. Previous years have been in Ohio. Next years Encounter is still being scheduled. We will keep you updated as the news is made known to us.
So many GREAT things happen at an Encounter – you just have to be there. Come. Come and See.
It’s a GREAT experience and a wonderful way to make a retreat for the year. In order to grow our Faith with Zeal, Passion and Fervor it is recommended to attend a retreat at least once a year and this would be a wonderful opportunity. A Great opportunity to meet and visit with fellow Cursillistas of English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Portuguese, and Philipino origin, language and culture. The music of each culture was experienced at the National Cursillo Conference as well as talent Fiesta on Saturday evening.
It’s a chance to meet and say hello to our fellow Region IV Cursillistas whom we work with throughout the year.
National Cursillo Leaders are there as well – Cef Aguillon, Juan Ruiz, and Hoang Tran, Fr. Alex Waraksa (National Spiritual Advisor) and Deacon Gary Terrana (Assitant National Spiritual Advisor) and many, many more dynamic Priests, Bishops, etc.
It is rewarding, energizing and stimulating to visit and revisit with these same people year after year and further friendships.
There is Mass everyday and the speakers share their experiences from different parts of the country. This year Dr. Ralph Martin was key-note speaker – he is a Cursillista. All of the talks from the Conference can be reviewed and studied. They are available on the National Cursillo Website in written form as well as video this year. It is a Great resource to use in the future.
